Best Anime of the year!

Well at least the best anime of half a year. Since I first launched my blog last June, I have watched a total of 67 anime series. I’ve of course watched more than that during the whole year of 2021, but I consider the anime I watched before the existence of my blog to not count. Mostly because I wasn’t really paying attention to that sort of thing and I didn’t actually write down what I was watching back then. Honestly, I can’t really remember what I watched in early 2021.

Some of the series I’ve watched after the launch of my blog were new for 2021 and some were just new to me. Some of the anime was well known and pretty popular in the anime loving world, and others were a bit obscure. I would say that I enjoyed watching all of them to some level, though I liked a few a lot more than others. Well, without further delay, my favorite (and in my mind the best) anime I’ve seen since the beginning of my blog is. . . .

The Case Study of Vanitas!

Honestly this one had it all. Great cast of characters that played well off of each other. It had plenty of action, humor, intrigue. I loved the opening and closing theme songs. Even the animation was pretty darn good. I think this is my number one recommendation of the year!

2021 Runners up were . . .

Pretty Boy Detective Club, this anime is just so adorable, with some fun psychedelic colorful explosions, it’s hard not to like this series!

Toilet Bound Hanako-kun, who doesn’t love the campy 7 wonders of the high school cliche’? And the voice acting was through the roof awesome!

Life Lessons with Uramichi Onii-san, the anime that made hating your life hilarious and kind of binge worthy!
